Access
The Fern Access module enables you to control the level of access each user has to the information maintained within different modules in your Fern Work solution. This means that you decide what pages are accessible by the users and what function they can perform on each of the pages.

Setting up User Groups and assigning Access permissions throughout the FernWork modules enables flexible and secure information sharing within the company and with external people. Each group can be granted access to the whole module or only to some components of the module. Access Permissions are also defined at the component level.

The number of user groups to be setup depends on the variation of the access level required for different system users. Each user is then assigned to a group according to the business needs. (e.g. Management, Sales etc)

This feature of the Fern Work solution is extremely useful if you wish to allow external people such as accountants to view some of the content of your system or to enable your customers to login and view only information relevant to them, for example transactions or forms.
